Plegada, la tienda de techo Thule Foothill para vehículos tiene un ancho de solo 61 cm, la mitad del tamaño de la mayoría de tiendas de este estilo en el mercado. A pesar de su tamaño compacto, al desplegarse la tienda tiene tanto espacio interior como una tienda tradicional para 2 personas. Para montarla, simplemente despliega la tienda y coloca los postes telescópicos. Al plegarse, el bajo perfil de la tienda sobresale solo 24 cm por encima de la barra de techo. Así se crea un perfil aerodinámico y garantiza que la tienda ocupa menos espacio al guardarla en un garaje fuera de temporada.
